from SOLAR CITIZENS: A photography competition

Hi there andrew

Did you know that enough sunlight falls on our planet in an hour to power the world for a year? Those amazing rays can help Australia move to 100% renewable electricity by 2030. They also make for a pretty picture!
'Capture the Sun 2030' is our new photography competition. We're inviting people all across Australia to snap the sun as it rises or sets and post their best shots on Instagram using the hashtag #capturethesun2030.

Help us share 'Capture The Sun 2030' far and wide across our sunburnt country.

You can share, like and follow the competition on our
websiteFacebook and Instagram. You can also of course enter!

The top ten most liked pics will be judged by a panel of professional photographers and the winner will ride away on a Fonzarelli electric scooter powered by Diamond Energy.

Solar Citizens has enlisted the awesome talents of Gretel Killeen and Jordan Shanks to star in a cheeky new video which you can click here to view.

Like and share to help us get the word out.

This celebration of the sun aims to shine a light on the power of our closest star and build momentum for solar energy in Australia.

So what are you waiting for? Get snapping and Capture the Sun!

Nell,
Project Manager
