'The Death of the Author' by Roland Barthes

If you have never read it, here's your chance. A good translation by Richard Howard is available at http://evans-experientialism.freewebspace.com/barthes06.htm

Andrew - No time for Barthes at the moment! Too busy promoting my new book, to be released before Christmas by BeWrite Books. Titled According to Luke, it's a puzzle thriller with an evangelist from the first century and lots of Euros and oh... a gun or two.

Also started another one... about 6 pages, all not terribly useable, but at least there's something for the cutting room floor.

I'm following your blog, okay?

Hi, Rosanne. Good to hear from you. I looked up yr website - very impressive. You have written so much! But Barthes is worth reading - he puts the Reader first, as all good writers should. Right? I think you'd agree.
