The Overland Judith Wright Poetry Prize for New and Emerging Poets, supported by the Malcolm Robertson Foundation, is now open. The prize was established in 2007 to foster poetry by writers who have not yet published a book of poems under their own name. This year the major prize is $6000, with a second prize of $2000 and a third prize of $1000.
Please read the prize guidelines before submitting.
The competition closes midnight, Thursday 15 November 2012.
Please note: Overland depends on its subscribers for its existence and the fee structure reflects that.
