Poets and musicians welcome...(acoustic only, no amplification). Or just come and be part of the audience.
Guest poet: Rob Walker, followed by open mic, with a 25-30 minute interval around 7.30pm $5 entry fee (this is to cover the cost of hiring the venue) ... A selection of foods will be available for purchase. A menu will be posted shortly and food should be pre-ordered by emailing debbizo@gmail.com Drinks (soft drinks and alcohol) will also be available for purchase. The venue is licensed until 8pm, last call for drinks before 8pm. PLEASE RSVP RSVPs accepted at debbizo@gmail.com and useful to know if you plan to read / perform on the night. There will be a sign up sheet at the door. The Ripple & Swirl Cafe is located at 14 The Esplanade, Christies Beach, South Australia. We will start off the night with our guest poet at 6.45 pm sharp. Open mic will begin around 7 pm. If successful, we plan to hold monthly or bi-monthly open mic events on the third Wednesday of the month. |
