Opportunities for writers The Story Wine Prize 2015 is now open This year, the winning story will receive a $4000 cash prize and will be published on the label of a Story Wines vintage, as well as in Overland’s last print issue of 2015. Two runners-up will each receive $500 and be published at Overland online to coincide with the release of the print magazine, and on the labels of different Story Wines vintages. Read the entry guide for more information. XYZ Prize for Innovation in Spoken Word We’re pleased to announce that Overland is a proud sponsor of Queensland Poetry Festival’s new spoken word prize – the first of its kind in Australia! Open to all Australian residents, the prize offers a first place of $1000, and two runner-up prizes of $250. Winning entries will be published at overland.org.au.
