Found poem: Histopathology :: Animal: Vanya (labrador)

Rapidly growing conical skin tumour
with horny tip - right hock.

Macroscopy: skin ellipse
bearing a tan crusted nodule.

Microscopy: sample with nodular
penduculated elongated mass

with thick layer of squamous
epithelium. Bundles and cords

of collagen and irregular
dysplastic hair follicles

well differentiated
sebaceous gland lobules.

Mild folliculitis
furunculosis and fibrosis.

Mitotic rate low.
Diagnosis: acrochordon -

benign skin tag or
Fibroepithelial polyp.

Non-neoplastic proliferation
Of skin and epithelium.

Lesion completely removed.
Mark Williamson, pathologist.
