Robert Herrick poem for today

Grace For a Child
by Robert Herrick

Here, a little child I stand,
Heaving up my either hand:
Cold as paddocks though they be,
Here I lift them up to Thee,
For a benison to fall
On our meat, and on us all. Amen

Sweet little poem takes me back to childhood. So many poems I have enjoyed over the past year or so when I've been on their mailing list at
