Tasmania-based Walleah Press publisher Ralph Wessman and writer Jane Williams have launched a new online-only literary journal.
The first issue of Communion is online now and features poetry, fiction, essays, an interview with poet Nathan Curnow, and Philomena van Rijswijk’s speech from the launch of Kathryn Lomer’s poetry collection Night Writing.
Communion seeks solicited and unsolicited essays/memoir (500 words and above), poetry and short fiction (under 1500 words). The journal will be published biannually, around June and December.
The editors regret that Communion is unable to offer payment to its contributors. Submissions are open year round. For more information, click here.
